If there is one nugget I could share with someone who was desiring to open up a bridal boutique, it would be to provide your brides a variety of choices in styles and silhouettes. Each season we (owners/buyers/retailers) look towards the couture standards to set the bridal trends, but not every bride will necessarily fall into that specific category. The classic and timeless silhouettes will remain a constant here at The Blushing Bride boutique, and we will always have a showroom filled with a-line and ballgown silhouettes because we desire to appease the bride who desires to look and feel like royalty on her wedding day. I wanted to to highlight 5 of our newest ballgown silhouette styles we currently have in the boutique. Each style brings her own personality, and is as unique as the bride who will chose her for her wedding day.
Ballgown #1 – “Eve” by Moonlight Couture
“Eve” is a satin and lace ballgown and she was designed by Moonlight Couture for the Princess Bride in mind. With rich beading embroidered into the sweetheart bodice, and accented with bead motifs, the slightly dropped waist accents the brides waistline while the satin skirt flows over the hips. A double beaded strap elegantly flows into a revealing back, while the semi-cathedral train is embellished with lace appliques, while the lace and transparent trim add drama to the bottom of this ballgown.
Ballgown #2 – Eddy K “Messina”
“Messina” is the updated “Princess Grace” dress with a bateau illusion neckline, and a 3/4 lace sleeve, our Messina by Eddy K bridal is a timeless and classic beauty. The embroidered lace bodice sits on the natural waist, while the organza skirt has embroidered lace, and a lace finished hem, this is truly for a bride who desires a fresh take on a lace ballgown. The perfect balance of sexy and conservative, Messina will appeal to a variety of brides who want to have a little more coverage on top, or who desire a sleeve. Messina can be worn for church weddings, or for outdoor, garden, or even barn/rustic inspired wedding venues.
Ballgown #3 – Val Stefani Couture “Mara”
Oh how this ballgown sparkles and shines, I need to insert her in a video format so that you can view her in action! With an illusion neckline, and vintage beaded textures, this ballgown by Val Stefani Couture is truly stunning. She is definitely for the bride who wants a fuller skirt, and a bit of coverage on top, but also for our bride who loves sparkle, and will appreciate all of the hand beading and sequins throughout this entire ballgown. For a bride who desires to bring a formal feel without being too overboard, the sparkle from Mara is just enough. And then there is that gorgeous illusion back with embroidered lace and beading… you will look just as beautiful leaving as you did arriving.
Ballgown #4 – Wtoo “Kennedy”
Meet “Kennedy” by Wtoo, she is the perfect mix of sexy and sparkle with her fitted bodice, and all over sequins. Brides love the sexy top mixed with the fun, and playful skirt. The sequined top has double straps that criss cross in back, and this youthful skirt is filled with voluminous layers of tiered matte organza. The straps in the back reveal a low and open back, which is a must-have for our brides who desire this sexy feature in a ballgown silhouette.
Ballgown #5 – Wtoo “Selena”
If you are a bride who is looking for a classic and timeless ballgown, and strapless is a must-have for you, you must try on our Selena ballgown by Wtoo. She is extremely flattering, with her silky taffeta ruched bodice, and fitted waistline that cinches you in, she is simple yet stunning all in one package. Brides love her sweetheart neckline, and multi layered skirt with horse hair trim that keeps its fun flowing shape. Classic and timeless will never go out of style!
