OUR BLUSHING BRIDE MISSION

Our mission is to provide Brides a professional and seamless experience from helping them to find their dream dress and styling accessories, to completing their alterations, and leave feeling beautiful and confident for their special day ahead.

How we got started

The Blushing Bride Boutique in Frisco, Texas opened her doors on historical Main Street November 1, 2011 in a blue 800 square foot Victorian house which had 3 open concept flowing rooms. When I first walked into the space it felt feminine, and lovely with the bright natural light flowing in from paned glass windows and I could imagine that with an aesthetic makeover it could easily be transformed into a cherished bridal boutique space. Within a few weeks the shop was freshly painted, the middle room was transformed into a 360 degree viewing area with mirrors on every wall. Soon the racks for dresses went up and shelving for hair pieces and accessories were added. Last was the finishing touches with crystal gilded chandeliers, curtains, furniture, and of course our gorgeous gowns. The business model was intended to see our Brides by appointment since my children were school aged, and I needed to be able to have flexibility in my schedule in case they needed me. Throughout the years we’ve remained by appointment which sets up the high standard of our service based approach to assisting our Brides. The Blushing Bride grew quickly and she moved locations two more times when settling in at our current 6,000 square foot space on the corner of 5th and Main Street in 2013. The Blushing Bride Boutique culture remains true from that little blue Victorian house, to now having the Austin, Texas storefront as well. We intend to provide the utmost class and service while leading our Brides to make the decision of finding their perfect Dream Dress. Our professional system of listening and understanding our Brides vision, then guiding them throughout the process in a seamless manner makes for a stress free approach for our Blushing Brides. We love being by their side from finding the ONE to making sure alterations are executed properly, and leaving fulfilled with the Dress of their Dreams.

We have options to purchase off the rack for our brides who need a gown quickly & do not have time to order.

Our floor samples are intended to be tried on, then ordered in the appropriate size based off our bride measurements.

Delivery options are 4-7 months. There may be a rush option with an additional fee.

Purchasing a Dress

Cleaning and Preservation 

Our Designer Gowns which are ordered run $1,500 to $5,000+ in Frisco. Off the Rack/Clearance selection in Frisco runs $500 - $2,500+.

Designer gowns in Austin run $2,500-$7,000+.

Designer gowns ordered in Salt Lake City run $1,500 - $5,000+

Bridal sizes run 2 sizes smaller than regular sizing. For example if you normally wear a size 8 in jeans, your size in bridal will more than likely run a size 12 or 14 depending on the Designer. We carry samples in bridal sizes 8 to 22. We can special order dresses in sizes 0-28.

Purchasing a Dress

Cleaning and Preservation 

Be prepared to share your ideas about what you envision for your wedding gown style. Bring your Pinterest dress inspiration photos, or screenshots from our website/Instagram page to give your consultant a starting point in what types of dresses you are interested in trying on. Your consultant will be able to let you know what price points our gowns run, so we can work together to find what is best for your desired budget.  
  • length of appointment (80 minutes)
  • the consultant and bride will shop for/select the dresses

Guest count - Weekday (maximum 8 guests) Saturday (max 4 guests + the Bride)
Please note, it has been our experience that any more than 8 guests for weekday appointments can take away from the Brides appointment and become a room filled with too many opinions. We wish for our Brides to have the best experience possible so this is instrumental to our goal.

Purchasing a Dress

Cleaning and Preservation 

We accept and prefer payments made by Visa or Mastercard.
We do not accept Discover or American Express.
We do not accept checks.

We accept payment in full for the off the rack / clearance gown purchases.

We accept 75% payment for made to order gown purchases.

Remaining balance is due within 30 days of receiving the Brides gown from the Designer and storing it at The Blushing Bride Boutique.

The Blushing Bride Boutique is not responsible for any damage or loss once the gown is taken from the store.

In the unlikely or unforeseen event a gown is no longer needed / wanted, if there is a remaining balance due, the Bride will need to pay the balance or The Blushing Bride Boutique will reserve the right to sell the gown off the rack to reclaim the loss of the unpaid balance.

Purchasing a Dress

Cleaning and Preservation 

The Blushing Bride Boutique does not clean gowns or recommend using any dry cleaning services.

Dresses can be sent for cleaning and preservation after your wedding to The Wedding Preservation Company. Book an appointment to bring your gown + 2 accessories to be cleaned and preserved.
  • We offer $25 discount for our brides who purchased from The Blushing Bride Boutique
  • Timeline - gowns sent out to The Wedding Preservation Company for cleaning and preservation expect 2-3 months to receive dress back
