Discovering the Difference a Detail Can Make
Trying on a dress is a chance to see how it feels, how it moves, and how the whole look comes together. For Katherine, one of the surprises was discovering just how much a small change could affect her connection to a gown.
“During my appointment, I was surprised with how such a little change/customization to a dress, or how the addition of a veil made the whole look feel completely different and even more special to me.”
With Madison’s help, Katherine could look beyond her first impression and explore the possibilities. A subtle adjustment or a veil could bring something new to the look, helping her picture it more fully.

When Katherine stepped out in the dress she ultimately chose, her mom’s reaction made the moment unforgettable.
“I knew I found my dress when I came out in it and my mom immediately started crying! Something just clicked in me and I thought ‘this one is different’.”
Her mom’s tears were part of that moment, but Katherine felt the difference herself, too. After exploring the options and considering the details, she had found the gown that clicked.
Looking back, Katherine remembers both finding her dress and the experience of getting there.
